CD Tenerife Forward Jesus de Miguel Dies After On-Field Collision

Jesus de Miguel, a 30-year-old striker for CD Tenerife, died after suffering a cardiac arrest following a collision during a Segunda Division match against Andorra. The game was abandoned after De Miguel collapsed from a chest impact with goalkeeper Jesus Owono. Medical staff treated him on the pitch before he was taken to hospital. The Royal Spanish Football Federation postponed all matches scheduled for Tuesday.
