CCPA fines Just Dial ₹10 lakh for listing explosive ammonium nitrate sellers

The Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) fined Just Dial Ltd ₹10 lakh for listing sellers of ammonium nitrate without proper disclosures on licensing, buyer eligibility, traceability, and legal consequences. The CCPA ordered Just Dial to stop listing and promoting ammonium nitrate and other explosives immediately and submit a compliance report within 15 days. Ammonium nitrate is regulated under the Explosives Act, 1884.
