WorldCBSE Requires Three Languages for Class 9 from July 1
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) mandates Class 9 students to study three languages, with at least two being Indian languages, starting July 1. The policy aligns with the National Education Policy 2020. There will be no Class 10 board exam for the third language to reduce pressure. Temporary use of Class 6 textbooks for the third language is planned, with special provisions for special needs and returning foreign students.
