CBI to Probe Contracts by Arrested MIL Executive in ₹500 Crore Bribery Case

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is investigating all recent contracts awarded by Anil Kumar, executive director of Munitions India Limited (MIL), who was arrested for allegedly colluding with private contractors for bribes in a ₹500 crore ammunition deal. The agency is examining links between procurement decisions, vendors, and payments, and has sought files from the defence ministry and MIL. Kumar is under interrogation for leaking sensitive defence information.
