The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested proclaimed offender Satyendra Kumar on October 23, 2026, in connection with the fodder scam case. Kumar had absconded since the charge sheet was filed in 2001, and the CBI searched for him for over 25 years. He was traced to Nepal and arrested while traveling from Guna, Madhya Pradesh, to Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. He is being brought to Ranchi for trial.
