CBFC Cuts 23 Seconds of Intimate Scenes from Verity Starring Anne Hathaway

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has given an 'A' certificate to the psychological erotic thriller 'Verity,' starring Anne Hathaway and Dakota Johnson, after cutting 23 seconds of intimate scenes. The film, based on Colleen Hoover's novel, will release in theaters on October 2, 2026. The CBFC also removed e-cigarette visuals, blurred a medicine brand, and added anti-smoking and anti-alcohol warnings.
