Case Filed Against BJP Agent for Attempting Voter Deletion in Musheerabad

Hyderabad police registered a case against BJP booth-level agent S. Balachander for allegedly trying to delete 30 voters from the electoral roll using pre-printed Form-7 applications at a Musheerabad polling station. The complaint was filed by Electoral Registration Officer T. Praveen Kumar. The case falls under Sections 217, 318(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Section 31 of the Representation of the People Act, 1950.
