CAQM Removes Exemptions for Older Goods Vehicles in Delhi-NCR Pollution Plan

The Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) has removed exemptions for older BS-IV and below goods vehicles under the strictest stages (III and IV) of Delhi-NCR's Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP). Light and medium goods vehicles will face curbs at Stage III, while trucks and heavy goods vehicles will be restricted at Stage IV. These formalized restrictions replace previous separate orders and allow state governments to implement further measures.
