Canva to Cut 22% of Staff Amid Growth Slowdown and Restructuring
Canva Group announced it will cut 1,271 jobs, about 22% of its workforce, due to its first growth slowdown in a decade. CEO Melanie Perkins said the restructuring will reshape the company’s structure, consolidate teams, and simplify management. Sydney will become the main base for product teams, with hybrid workers expected in-office 2-3 days weekly. Departing employees will receive $10,000 grants.
