California River Restoration Draws Salmon Days After Completion
A restoration project on California's Lower Tuolumne River successfully revitalized salmon habitats by adding over 24,000 cubic yards of gravel and 80 boulders. This effort improved spawning conditions and biodiversity. Salmon were observed flocking to the new habitats almost immediately after the project finished, demonstrating its effectiveness in supporting local wildlife.
