Calcutta HC Extends Security for Mahua Moitra in Krishnanagar Till Nov 30

The Calcutta High Court has extended security cover for TMC MP Mahua Moitra in her Krishnanagar constituency until November 30. The court ordered two police personnel to accompany her following allegations of egg pelting and harassment during previous visits. Justice Saugata Bhattacharyya directed the petition be placed before the division bench led by Chief Justice Ravindra V Ghuge, as per his instructions in a related PIL on egg pelting in West Bengal.
