Cabinet Secretary Shared ECs' Letters with CEC, RTI Reveals

An RTI response revealed that the Cabinet Secretary forwarded acknowledgements of letters sent by two Election Commissioners (ECs) to the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) for information. The Cabinet Secretariat reportedly declined to act on complaints against a senior Election Commission officer, despite letters from the ECs highlighting issues. The RTI also showed work allocation orders were issued without prior discussion or informing the ECs.
