Cabinet Approves Rs 2,009.61 Crore Dussehra Bonus for 11.4 Lakh Railway Employees

The Union Cabinet, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, approved a Productivity Linked Bonus of Rs 2,009.61 crore for 11,40,770 railway employees ahead of Durga Puja and Dussehra. Each eligible employee will receive a maximum bonus of Rs 17,951 for 78 days’ wages. The bonus rewards non-gazetted staff for their contribution to Indian Railways' strong 2025-26 performance.
