BusinessCabinet Approves ITLA to Integrate Transport and Logistics
The Indian government has approved the creation of the Integrated Transport and Logistics Authority (ITLA) to unify road, rail, air, port, and waterway services. This aims to reduce business costs, speed up goods movement, and support small businesses. Additionally, a 10,000 crore rupees fund has been allocated for the Small and Medium Enterprises Growth Fund (SGF). ITLA will coordinate multiple transport sectors for long-term planning and efficiency.
