Britannia appoints N Venkataraman as Deputy MD, Jayaraman as CFO

Britannia Industries has promoted N Venkataraman to deputy managing director from October 1 to July 29, 2030. He will stop serving as CFO but remain whole-time director. Venkataraman will oversee finance, strategy, legal, secretarial, and IT functions, working with CEO Rakshit Hargave. Ramamurthy Jayaraman becomes CFO from October 1, leading finance, taxation, treasury, and commercial functions.

GST Revenue in September Rises 14.7%, Stays Above Rs 2 Lakh Crore

GST revenue collection in September increased by 14.7% year-on-year to Rs 2.04 lakh crore, marking the third consecutive month above the Rs 2 lakh crore mark.
