Brent Crude Hits $110 Amid Iran Attacks and Ukraine-Russia Tensions
Brent crude oil prices surpassed $110 per barrel for the first time since May due to escalating attacks near the Strait of Hormuz and renewed hostilities between Russia and Ukraine, raising global supply concerns. WTI crude also rose sharply, gaining over 10% weekly. Goldman Sachs warned prices could reach $120 if shipping disruptions worsen, but easing tensions might lower prices to around $80.
