Boy Dies from Burns in Tirupattur After Playing with Paint Thinners

An 11-year-old boy named I. Kavin died from severe burn injuries after accidentally setting himself on fire while playing with paint thinners at his home in Pachampettai village, Tirupattur. His father, S. Illayaraja, and neighbors tried to extinguish the flames but Kavin succumbed to his injuries at a Chennai hospital. The police have registered a case and are investigating.
