Bombay HC Sets Aside ED Attachment of ₹25 Crore Assets in Yes Bank-DHFL Case

The Bombay High Court overturned an appellate tribunal's April order that allowed the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to continue provisional attachment of assets worth ₹25 crore linked to Pune businessman Avinash Bhosale and others. The assets were attached during a money-laundering probe into 2018 transactions between Yes Bank and Dewan Housing Finance Limited (DHFL). The court found no basis for the attachment, ruling the transactions legal and not proceeds of crime.
