The Bombay High Court ruled that insisting on someone's religious conversion does not insult any religious beliefs. The court quashed a case against four accused of coercing a couple to convert to Christianity. Justice M W Chandwani stated the accused promoted their religion without outraging religious feelings. The prosecution alleged promises of financial support for conversion, but the court found no malicious intent or insult to religion.
