Bomb Threat Emails Target Thane and Hingoli Courts; No Suspicious Items Found

On November 1, 2026, district and sessions courts in Thane and Hingoli, Maharashtra, received bomb threat emails, prompting evacuations and police searches. The Thane court was evacuated after a threat of a 3:30 p.m. blast. Police, including dog squads and bomb disposal teams, conducted thorough searches but found nothing suspicious. The Hingoli court also received a similar threat, which was investigated without incident.
