SportsBodhana Sivanandan Becomes Youngest Woman Chess Grandmaster
Bodhana Sivanandan, an 11-year-old British Indian schoolgirl, was crowned the youngest Woman Grandmaster (WGM) at the 46th Chess Olympiad in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. Representing England, she played all 11 rounds on the top board and scored eight points. She is the youngest player to earn the WGM title and to represent England internationally in any sport, having debuted at age nine.
