BMC Removes Over 52,000 Unauthorized Banners and Posters in Mumbai

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has removed 52,448 unauthorized banners, flex boards, and posters across Mumbai from January 1 to October 16, 2024. During a special drive from October 8 to 16, the BMC seized around 3,537 unauthorized advertisements including banners, boards, posters, and flags. Legal action has been initiated with four FIRs registered by the Licensing Department.
