The assault targeted the Frontier Works Organisation's main camp using a suicide VBIED, killing seven personnel including Lt. Col. Mujahid Hussain and Capt. Sajjad. Facilities linked to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and National Logistics Company were also attacked, causing fires and damage.
