Black Hills to Invest $1.8 Billion for Google's Wyoming Data Center
Black Hills Corp announced agreements to power a proposed Google data center in Cheyenne, Wyoming, planning to invest $1.8 billion from 2027 to 2029 to build 564 MW of new generation capacity. The project will use a 2.7 GW resource mix, with power deliveries starting in late 2027 and peak load by 2030. Google will cover all electricity costs, and Black Hills expects $150 million net income by 2030.
