Biocon Expands Stelara Biosimilar Yesintek to Nine More Markets

Biocon Limited has signed a license agreement with Janssen Sciences Ireland to commercialize Yesintek, its biosimilar to Stelara (ustekinumab), in nine additional markets including Australia, Brazil, China, Hong Kong, Israel, Mexico, New Zealand, South Korea, and Kazakhstan. This expands Biocon's global reach beyond the US, Europe, UK, Canada, and Japan. Stelara had $6.08 billion in sales in 2025. The deal allows Biocon to offer affordable treatment for autoimmune diseases.
