Bihar Tops India in Digital Health Services Scan and Register Category

Bihar has secured the first position nationwide in the Scan and Register category under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) for digital health services. According to the State Health Committee's October 21 report, Bihar recorded 8.12 crore scans and registrations. The state ranks fifth in ABHA ID creation with 6.77 crore IDs and fourth in health record linking with 9.14 crore records. Plans are underway to improve rankings by enhancing ID creation at hospital OPD counters and through village health workers.

Assam CM orders action after attack on Bihu artists, 13 arrested
