TechnologyBihar to Connect via 7 High-Speed Corridors with 5 Bullet Train Stations
Bihar will be connected to seven high-speed rail corridors, including a bullet train route linking Delhi, Agra, Kanpur, Lucknow, Prayagraj, Varanasi, and Patna. The bullet trains will run at speeds up to 320 km/h, reducing travel time from Bihar to Delhi to about 4 hours 41 minutes. The project, announced in the 2026-27 budget, is in the tendering stage for the DPR, with officials appointed to oversee work across Delhi, Bihar, and Uttar Pradesh.
