Bihar SHO Suspended for Brandishing Pistol During Flood Relief

Sangram Kumar Singh, SHO of Maker Police Station in Saran, Bihar, was suspended after a video showed him brandishing a pistol at flood-affected people during relief distribution. The Saran SSP cited gross negligence, indiscipline, and arbitrariness. Singh will receive subsistence allowance during suspension. Floods affected nearly 9.87 lakh people across six Bihar districts due to heavy rainfall in Nepal and nearby areas.
