Bihar Revenue Department Orders Strict Guidelines on Pending Land Cases

The Bihar Revenue and Land Reforms Department has issued strict guidelines to prevent blocking of land registration and other revenue matters at local offices solely due to pending court applications or objections. Only cases formally admitted and pending in competent courts under the Bihar Land Registration Act, 2011, Section 6(12), will be considered pending. Clear proof of court admission is required. The order aims to reduce confusion and delays caused by varied interpretations of competent courts among local officials.
