Bihar Government to Inspect Bhudan Land Records, Cancel Illegal Deeds

The Bihar government has decided to bring transparency to the Bhudan Yagya Committee's operations by conducting surprise inspections across six zones. Teams led by the Deputy Collector will seize all records from district Bhudan offices, including donation deeds and distribution registers, for safekeeping and digitization. Illegal land deeds held by current and retired employees will be canceled, and FIRs will be filed against them. Amendments to the Bihar Bhudan Yagya Act and rules are planned to expedite reforms.
