Bhavnagar Court Sentences Man to Life for Murdering Live-in Partner

A Bhavnagar sessions court in Gujarat sentenced Faizal alias Khatki Rafikbhai Lakhani to life imprisonment for murdering his live-in partner, Kajalben Dilipbhai Baraiya, at the Bhavnagar ST Bus Stand. The conviction was based on eyewitness accounts, CCTV footage, forensic evidence, and the postmortem report. The verdict came just over two months after the September 3 murder. Gujarat minister Harsh Sanghavi praised the swift investigation and prosecution.
