Bharat Biotech Cuts Malaria Vaccine Price by 40% in UNICEF-GAVI Deal

Bharat Biotech has reduced the price of its malaria vaccine Mosqivac by about 40%, lowering the cost from €9.30 to €5.50 per dose. This price cut follows an agreement backed by UNICEF and Gavi, supported by advance payment from IFFIm. Effective early 2027, the reduction aims to save $50 million for child immunisation programs and enable vaccination of one million more children with the full four-dose course.
