Bengaluru Residents Protest Rs 900 Crore OMR-Indiranagar-Madiwala Flyover

Residents of Bengaluru, mainly young people, formed a human chain on Indiranagar’s 80 Feet and 100 Feet roads demanding the scrapping of the proposed Rs 900-crore flyover connecting Old Madras Road, Indiranagar, and Madiwala. They claim the project will increase congestion, reduce green cover, and disrupt neighborhoods. Protesters also raised concerns about flawed and plagiarised DPRs and demanded cancellation of tenders and reallocation of funds to mobility projects based on IISc recommendations.

BJP's Vijayendra Threatens to Gherao Police Stations Over Form 7 FIRs

Three Dead, Nine Injured in Karnataka Lorry-Tractor Collision

In Karnataka's Belagavi district, three people died and nine were injured when a lorry rear-ended a tractor on National Highway 48 near Managutti. The deceased are Prakash Vasedar (28), Danappa Jaganure (26), and Shivappa Khanapure (30) from Hanajanatti village. The injured were taken to the district hospital, with two in critical condition.
