Bengaluru Residents Lead Home Composting Efforts

In Bengaluru, some residents are independently managing waste by composting kitchen and garden waste at home. Shobha Bhat from RR Nagar uses mesh composters and drums to process wet waste and leaves, producing compost for her garden in about 45 days without foul smell. Sowmya Raghavan from RT Nagar has composted for a decade using a container for wet waste with a 25-day cycle, encouraging others to adopt composting.
