Bengaluru-Mumbai Vande Bharat Sleeper Train to Launch November 1

The Bengaluru-Mumbai Vande Bharat sleeper train will launch on November 1. It features 16 coaches: 11 AC three-tier, four AC two-tier, and one AC First Class coach. Designed for speeds up to 160 kmph with a testing speed of 180 kmph, it falls in the semi-high-speed category. However, much of Indian Railways' network currently lacks infrastructure for these speeds.

21 Protected Turtles Rescued in Madhya Pradesh After Gang Tip-Off

In Indore, Madhya Pradesh, the State Tiger Strike Force rescued 21 protected turtles following a tip-off from Raunak Juneja, an arrested member of an interstate wildlife smuggling gang. The recovered turtles include 19 Indian Pond turtles and 2 Star Tortoises, both protected under the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972. Five accused have been arrested so far in the case.
