Hotels across Bengaluru have increased prices of several menu items by 10-15% due to rising costs of milk, rice, pulses, and other raw materials. Tea, coffee, idli, and dosa prices have also gone up. Hoteliers cited input cost hikes, especially after unrest in the Middle East, as forcing them to pass on expenses to customers to avoid losses, according to PC Rao of BBHA and hotelier Mahesh K.
