Bengaluru Business Corridor Land Awards and Payouts by December

The Bengaluru Business Corridor (BBC), also called Peripheral Ring Road-1, is progressing with final land acquisition notifications issued for four cloverleaf junctions at Tumakuru Road, Airport Road, Old Madras Road–Whitefield, and Hosur Road. Chairperson L K Atheeq stated that land acquisition awards and compensation payments will be completed by December 2024. Additional 600 acres are needed for junctions and integration with NICE Road, supplementing the original 1,800 acres notified in 2007.

FBI Blames North Korea for $6.3 Billion Binance Hack

The FBI has attributed the $6.3 billion cryptocurrency theft from Binance to North Korea's state-backed hacking group TraderTraitor. The attack, the largest crypto heist ever, occurred on Thursday and targeted the world's biggest crypto exchange. Binance replaced 90% of the stolen funds and will cover the rest. The FBI warned the hackers are converting assets into Ethereum and may use DeFi platforms to evade detection.
