BEL to Invest ₹2,500 Crore in Defence Ecosystem in Sri Sathya Sai

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Central government-owned Navratna company, will invest ₹2,500 crore to develop a world-class defence ecosystem on a 914-acre site in Sri Sathya Sai district. The project aims to bring advanced defence manufacturing to Rayalaseema, create 800 quality jobs for youth, and support supplier base growth, fulfilling government commitments, said IT and HRD Minister Nara Lokesh.
