BDA Launches Rs 725 Crore Elevated Corridor Project on Ballari Road

The Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) has initiated a Rs 725-crore elevated road project on Ballari Road, replacing the scrapped steel flyover plan. The project includes demolishing the existing Ganganagar and Sanjaynagar flyovers and constructing a four-lane elevated road with a rotary above Mehkri Circle. The corridor will connect UAS staff quarters to Mehkri Circle and link to the Hebbal tunnel, targeting completion within 18 months before the 2028 Assembly elections.
