Entertainment'Bali in Bengaluru' Festival Bridges Indian and Balinese Epics
The 'Bali in Bengaluru' festival is a 16-day cultural event featuring 16 performances across 14 venues, showcasing the shared roots of Balinese and Indian traditions through the Ramayana and Mahabharata. Led by Padma Shri awardee I Wayan Dibia, it includes 25 Balinese and Indian artists such as puppeteer Anupama Hoskere and Yakshagana teacher K Krishnamoorthy Thunga. Events include Balinese folk arts, shadow puppetry, workshops, and lectures starting October 3 in Bengaluru.
