Bajaj Finance Ltd is reducing loans to borrowers with three or more lending relationships to 3.5% by March 2027 to protect credit quality amid rising risks in India's unsecured lending market. Managing Director Rajeev Jain said the share of such customers has already been cut from 14% to 7%. The company is cautious about unsecured, self-employed borrowers facing inflation and oil price pressures and has increased provisions for potential repayment issues.
