Australian Farmer Converts Poultry Waste into Power and Products
Chris Freney, a poultry farmer in Toongabbie, Victoria, is developing a system to transform thousands of tonnes of chicken waste into electricity, fertiliser, and natural food dye. This innovation aims to create multiple valuable products from poultry litter, which is typically used as agricultural manure, by extracting energy and recovering nutrients from the waste.
