Australia's Regulator Probes Failed $5 Billion Firmus IPO
Australia's corporate regulator, the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC), is examining the failed $5 billion initial public offering of AI data centre operator Firmus. The IPO, planned as Australia's second largest, collapsed on October 9 due to insufficient investor support. ASIC Chair Sarah Court said the regulator is engaging with the banks leading the share sale, including Bank of America, JPMorgan, Morgan Stanley, and Morgans, but has not launched an official investigation yet.
