Australia Investigates Smart Glasses App Over Privacy Concerns
Australia's data protection watchdog is investigating the company behind an app used in popular low-cost smart glasses. The probe focuses on how and where Shenzhen Qingcheng collects and stores personal data. Privacy Commissioner Carly Kind expressed concern over the lack of response from the firm, stating there is no assurance that Australian personal data is being protected under the Privacy Act.
