BusinessAT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Shares Drop as SpaceX Expands Starlink Mobile
Shares of AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon fell about 11% after SpaceX announced it acquired low-band spectrum to expand its Starlink satellite service into a major US mobile carrier. The spectrum, bought from Grain Management, enables satellite-to-cellular service with indoor coverage and is compatible with most devices. Elon Musk called it the final piece for nationwide phone coverage.
