SciencePhoto: Phys.orgAstronomers Discover Dark Galaxy with Huge Hydrogen Reservoir
Astronomers have identified AGC 322753, a dark galaxy containing about 2 billion solar masses of neutral hydrogen. Despite its large hydrogen reservoir and radio signals indicating rotating gas in a disk, no starlight or visible glow has been detected, suggesting it may be a galaxy without stars. This discovery was made using FAST and Arecibo telescopes.
