Arunachal Police Rescue 51 in Child Trafficking Network

In Arunachal Pradesh's Namsai district, police have rescued 51 individuals, including 47 children and 4 adults, from a suspected child trafficking network. The investigation began on August 17, with the recent arrest of a fifth accomplice, Ema Loi from Kaba village. Children aged 3 to 19 were reportedly separated from economically weak families with promises of better education but were sent to work in homes and hotels. Financial transactions of 10,000 to 50,000 rupees per child were uncovered. Authorities will also investigate the roles of parents and intermediaries.
