Army Seeks Dismissal of Major Accused of Affairs with Officers' Wives

The Army is pursuing the dismissal of a Major accused of extramarital affairs with the wives of two fellow officers. Instead of a court-martial, the Major received a show-cause notice on August 10 under Army Rules 19 and 14. He challenged the process at the Armed Forces Tribunal in New Delhi, but the tribunal refused to stay proceedings on October 14. The Army must share inquiry findings with him as he responds.
