Archaeologists Drill Mount Ararat for Clues to Noah’s Ark
Archaeologists have drilled the Durupinar formation on Turkey’s Mount Ararat, collecting hundreds of soil samples from depths up to 60 feet. They are analyzing organic matter and possible ancient wood traces to investigate links to Noah’s Ark. Laboratory tests are ongoing, and no conclusions have been drawn yet.
