Apple Blocks Vulnerable eMudhra Security Certificates, macOS Fix Pending
Apple has blocked vulnerable digital certificates issued by Indian company eMudhra to protect users from potential web security threats. A security researcher found weaknesses in private cryptographic keys of eight intermediate certificates, which could allow attackers to impersonate websites and expose sensitive data. Major browsers trusted these certificates. Apple has blocked them since October 19 and is preparing a macOS update to fix related command-line tool issues.
